Here's how WhatsApp looks on the desktop. WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging apps on earth, introduced a fully functionally desktop app for Mac and Windows on Tuesday. The Facebook-owned messaging behemoth already offers a web version of its service, but this is the first time it's had a native app designed specifically for Macs and Windows PCs. WhatsApp has over 1 billion monthly active users, which makes its reach only second to Facebook itself.
