This study looks at daily time management and contingency planning for employee engagement. There are 3 steps for effective time management: plan your day, consider potential interruptions and then align it with your time management or contingent plan. Time management is no longer just about boosting productivity, but about making people happier in the workplace. If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to improve your time management skills, then Wharton management professor Michael Parke can help. He’s the co-author of a study that looks at two specific types of daily planning for employees.
