Cerro Autana (Autana Mountain)

Is a geological formation located at the western portion of the Guiana Shield in the Estado Amazonas, Venezuela near the Colombian border (approximate coordinates 04°51′33.61″N 67°27′05.51″W). It is characterized by a narrow base, a flat top and almost vertical walls. Its top is at approximately 1220 meters (4003 feet). It belongs to the formations known as tepuis which are characteristic flat-top mountains of the Guiana Shield. Cerro Autana (Wahari-Kuawai ) plays the role of the "tree of life" in the oral history and lore of the Piaroa Indians which inhabit the region.

Captain Don Stewart Memorial, Bonaire

He has spent the greater part of his life in Bonaire taking visitors diving and successfully campaigning to protect the natural underwater wonders. Among his many accomplishments, Captain Don lead the campaign to ban spearfishing on Bonaire, instituted the first permanent mooring system which eliminated the need for boats to drop an anchor, founded the Council of underwater Operators, and implemented a mandatory orientation dive for all people diving on Bonaire. He is also responsible for opening the first hotel on the island, Zeebad, (which is now the Divi Flamingo Beach Resort, and in 1976 he opened Captain Don’s Habitat, which introduced capse concept of “diving freedom,” diving 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Apple’s ‘Let Loose’ event gave us our first look at its long-awaited iPad Pro updates: 13-inch and 11-inch models with OLED displays and the thinnest design yet.
